***Have-At-It Never-Ending Gabfest***

I feel your pain, Rose. I've been working a lot of night meetings on top of the 9-6 in the office and the hour commute each way. My peak of fatigue comes this Sunday with a big church choir performance of Lessons and Carols which is actually bigger than Cristmas. I'm not a singer but I give my time ...

I am so dismayed with the Republican party and where politics are headed. (And I've even been an elected district rep to the county committee for 20 years!) So, my sister-in-law married a Swede and moved there in 1978. Her son, my nephew, with dual citizenship, married a Kurdish refugee to Sweden, w...

So nice to be able to re-visit this concert. It was a good one! Thank you, Marie, for all you do to keep everything organized! Wilkes-Barre, at least by the square, and probably around the colleges, seems very nice, but it is a bit off the major highways. To get to Route 80 (back to New Jersey), one...

Does anyone have a really good photo of Adam's Eye of Horus? Now that the infinity tat is all gone, I'm giving serious thought to getting a real tattoo for my birthday, since I intend to be obsessed with him forever, and I want to see how it looks now that it is embedded in his current sleeve. Than...

Maybe WB could persuade him to do a holiday album with international and non-secular appeal? I'm not talking about the treacly stuff. And I would love if for the final track he would do the American National Anthem - to show what he could do with that very difficult song. It would be like Queen addi...

Finally, finally heard ALN on Sirius. then two hours later, it was Ghost Town's turn. That little tune keeps hanging in there.

Do tell, what's a cooking bag? I made a big mistake quite a few years ago rubbing a chicken with butter, and having guests who kept Kosher. Since then, I've always used olive oil, no matter who was coming over. (Where was my head?) I don't know what happened to Adam's turkey from his instagrams, bu...

Funny you mentioned not stuffing a turkey, - my daughter asked whether anyone stuffed a turkey anymore. Always used to, but haven't in the past couple of years. It's just one more bit of stress to get the stuffing out of the bird. So we did two "dressings", a traditional one out of the bag...

I've been cooking all day. Sort of has become a tradition to save a vacation day for this. But then I transport the food to a daughter's house, who has the responsibility to clean and polish the silver.
Christmas is on my turf though.

Just a quick question for those who know more about radio than I do. I live in southern Mississippi, and several stations in my area added GT but never played it (maybe they played it once, I don't know). One station, WXYK, 107.1 The Monkey in Biloxi, MS, has added ALN, and I've had their website o...

I think only people in France have the background to add something solid to the discussion about whether a concert should proceed or not at this early date. It's a very case-sensitive situation. People may be willing to go out to the bistros in their neighborhoods, but maybe hesitant to go to a conc...

The danger should have ceased. - We can only hope, but we don't know how prepared France is to up their screening into concert halls, etc. I can stroll into a local theatre for a music event, without having someone peering and pawing into my handbag, but go through screenings and sometimes pat-downs...

I think that means that the radio station changed its broadcast programming to reflect the national sense of mourning. Nothing about the concert.

People can't all get along if some people are pre-disposed to violence. My American sister-in-law has lived in Sweden with her Swedish husband since 1978. Her oldest child is married to a Muslim Kurd refugee whose family sought safety in Sweden. A lot of Swedes are opposed to the number of immigrant...

Considering this one most seriously.
Even with the camping. I has been trying for my husband and his sister in Sweden to agree to Cropredy, which is sort of a folk festival.
Mind, I'm not one for camping.

I'm sure Adam's team will create a tour. If he's the opener, or is the main event with an opener, I'm sure the pros will determine what has to be done. But speaking of that opening slot I just went to a David Cook concert, very locally, The opening artist was wonderful - Andrew Ripp - and I'm defini...

Well, yes, quite a lot of drama. Safe to say Newton will never see David Cook again. I was really really impressed with the opener - Andrew Ripp. Very personable, voice with so much range and power, even if his song-writing is towards the Nashville-country vein, and he once wrote songs for Hanson (i...
