Same! Hands down, he's my favorite this season. I'm also a fan of Trent Harmon, Tristan MacIntosh, Jenna Renae, Lee Jean, Olivia Rox, James VIII and Shelbie Z.

It's too early for me to have one favorite. Although I never have just one favorite.

Just as I'm thinking of some names (Dalton, MacKenzie, LaPorsha) I then think well...I also like Jenn and CJ and Lee and....

I think they've got a really talented top 24 (with no cute little boys with very little talent) But as previous years have shown things may change once they get to the live rounds. People I thought were good suddenly don't seem so great.

Can't wait to see how this final season plays out. Should be fun!!

Saw your post early this morning 3kul, but wasn't able to get online at that time. Yes, I noticed that as well, but I have to admit, I didn't like it. Maybe because Adam's version was so mesmerizing as well as having the stellar vocals to carry it off. To me her version was a very weak & boring version of Adam's ROF and I was very surprised that she got through. But that is just my opinion.

Fan-favorite singers return to mentor and sing with the contestants. The judges decide who will stay in the competition.

Wonder if Adam will be on that night?

Saw Dalton last night in Nz. He does have a Adam vibe doesent he. Not vocally. But hes unpredictabile like Adam was. I know that mountain girl was average vocally. But just pointing out how far Idol and maybe mainstream usa has come since Adam did Rof. My fav idol performance of all time. No one standing out right now, other then Dalton. Or I mean no girls I like yet hahaha.

I have been wondering about that myself. It would be really awesome if it would happen as it would be full circle for Adam, but the likely hood of that happening is probably nil. But we can hope a miracle occurs.

Can't wait to see him on the show no matter what he is doing. It will be the highlight of the show for sure.

In case you're wondering how the Top 14/Wild Card show is going to work... From IDF

"The judges will announce the 8 getting through to the next round, based on whatever criteria they like. Then the 6 who don't get called have to sing.

The public gets to vote for 2. AFAIK, there are no gender restrictions on the WCs and no theme for the song choices.

This show will be pre-taped on Tuesday, to air on Wednesday."

WOW...considering it's the final season, they sure are rushing to get it over with. They've taken a lot of the fun out of the show by having the judges selecting the contestants and not allowing the public to vote.
My top picks (Dalton, Trent and Avalon), are still in the top, but I don't agree with some of the talent they have let go. It might be a completely different top 14 if america had the chance to vote. Only my opinion.

I agree. How is Jenn Blosil, who had a completely horrendous week, still there ?! How did people like Stefany Negrete get let go? And how in the hell does Gianna Isabella get to compete when her mother is friends with J-Lo, when people have been disqualified for much less connections (I'm thinking very specifically Joanna Pacitti from season 8, who was disqualified because her ex-manager started work for 19E before Joanna even competed on the show)?
