Seems like Adam has come such a long way from his two laser lights from GNT.

It's wonderful that he has the clout and money to stage a nice production for his TOHTour.

Oh no! Adam has lots of Chinese fans. They love Dang Dang. Hopefully someone will volunteer. It would be a shame if we miss it. I'll keep a positive thought that it will happen.

I'm sure we'll get loads of videos, but no live stream. The internet in China is so restrictive... no UStream, Periscope, etc.

DX7 DESIGN began in school when Tom Sutherland became switched on to a creative career, thanks to his early inspiration – school shows and major West End productions. He has since developed an expanding international business.
Having visited a leading television lighting designer on The National Lottery Jet Set in 2002, Tom gained industry experience in every spare hour, and on his 16th birthday, filled in for someone on ITV’s Saturday night prime time show Johnny & Denise Passport To Paradise. Shortly after this Tom applied to The BRIT School. He was accepted on the Lighting Design Course, but turned it down to continue with A Levels. Spending more time out of college than in it led to dropping out… and going over to the dark side.
Tom spent a year working as a moving light technician and designing for various nightclubs and live music venues, then moving on to become a full time lighting programmer.
Tom has been fortunate enough to have worked on iconic shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, Top Of The Pops, Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor, as well as collaborating with some of the world’s most famous artists, stars such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Elton John and One Direction. His success has vindicated his chosen path.
At 22 he undertook his first major design job – lighting a Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert at London’s Koko (BBC Radio 1), which was nominated for a Knight Of Illumination award. Tom is the youngest lighting designer to have been nominated for this accolade.
He won his first international job too, consulting in China on a TV show he programmed in the UK, Tonight’s the Night, and having presented to 400 people on this trip, the company’s Asian client base has grown exponentially.
Illuminating moments to date:
•Programming The X Factor for several years – at 23 Tom was appointed Lighting Designer for the show’s arena auditions nationwide.
•Lighting Designer on Britain's Got Talent auditions (which led to his second nomination for a Knight Of Illumination Award in 2014).
• Programming the Brit Awards in 2014.
• Il Divo, tour Lighting Director.
• Lighting Designer for China’s biggest independent television network’s New Year Gala show which reached 150 million viewers.
2015 has seen Tom work on his first US TV series, a new Simon Cowell format, La Banda, based in Miami, which aims to find the next huge boyband of Latin America. 2015 is also the year in which Tom has received a third nomination for a Knight Of Illumination award for his design on The X Factor Boot Camp, Six Chair Challenge. Tom likes to make his designs feel fresh, young and individual. He sees each show as an exciting challenge and pre-visualises work before clients make an investment. The best bit is seeing a DX7 DESIGN come to life from a computer screen to a stage or set.
He says: “I always dream respectfully and I always dream big.”
