I'm a bit late,but it was rough getting right back into the office after Isle of Wight. Very surprised to have caught this on my cell phone!

Fantastic shot...great timing! Can't wait to read about your trip.

The trip was great, overall. Had its share of getting lost on the roads, which are definitely not well marked, and not getting signal for google maps, Hubby and I spent two days sightseeing on the Isle and only two days out of four at the Festival. The Isle of Wight is devoted to agriculture and tourism, I think. We visited a first century Roman villa which had been excavated in Brading, not so far from where we stayed. The sea is everywhere.
I'm sure you've read all on QAL for IOW. Who wants to live forever was epic. I think any Americans were still reeling from the Orlando news. We were traveling with sandyrk for this adventure, and had invested in premium vip for Sunday. It was very nice, and although we were not close to the stage, the sound was perfect, we had the screens to look at, and it was a different perspective to look over the crowd, all with their arms up and singing along. Sandyrk and friends, nevertheless, went down into that GA and got to second row distance to the stage.
On the day before, Saturday, we were in the GA mix, but ended up on the rails at the stage. When we came in, the Corrs were performing - an Irish band mixing contemporary and traditional. My husband loved Iggy Pop. Headliner on Saturday was The Who. They put on a good show, though Roger was quite hoarse. A lot of it is dependent on the video background, and if I had to put up Queen vs. The Who, in a live setting, Queen came through.

I agree, just such a special, really excellent performance and Adam said he was nervous but he was also getting such a kick out of performing with Bri and Roger that his joy was infectious. He also looked amazing....nice hair cut and color, those very sexy pants and no facial hair!
