Thanks for the messages of support, guys!
Mom's funeral was beautiful. I met the priest for all of 15 minutes before the mass, but you know me, I can talk a mile a minute.
The eulogy was spot on!
The only drawback was that the church does NOT have air conditioning, only some fans! I have never sweated so much in my life!
Some of you may know that I am prone to panic attacks and I have been getting them for the last week or so. My greatest fear was that I would get one during the mass, but I didn't!!!! YAY ME!!!!!
On my way home, I felt the first real pangs of hunger in over a week, stopped to buy myself a huge steak sub! Got home, 'inhaled' it (you really couldn't call what I did to it 'eating'
), went for a shower, did a quick catch up on the board and my twitter feed and then exhaustion hit me!
I went for a 'disco' nap that lasted THREE HOURS!!!! Yikes!!!!!
And someone sent me this on my feed....
