Don't have cable, don't watch tv, but can't stand DT and pretty much his family....find the whole speech thing hilarious.
He's a compulsive liar so my expectations of his wife are very low.
I think if he becomes president, I'm considering moving back to Germany lol.
The thought of classy President Obama and Michelle being replaced by DT and wife gives me the shivers....they're like a bad reality show.

I have so enjoyed your blogs Sandryk and you have certainly had some wonderful experiences. I was also sorry to hear what your friend had to go through trying to get through customs in Miami. Certainly not a very good start to what was going to be such an exciting trip for him.

Was sitting in front of my laptop w TV on. Suddenly, I heard "Slow ride" came on. It sounded like Alison's voice...*turned my head toward TV set*... then Adam's voice! It's a Chili's (restaurant) commercial. I think I was not wrong. They use the "Slow Ride" from AI. Hope some other people will see the ad too & confirm it.
Found the ad, what do you guys think? Was it Adam & Alison?

Babies are for the young. I really did have the pleasure of having my 18 month old granddaughter this afternoon for 6 non-stop hours. No nap. My house has 5 levels and 4 flights of stairs, so it's constant supervision. Even though she's very adept at them.
But, oh boy, I am getting the push from my daughter to retire and give Nellie the summers at the pool she remembers.
Well maybe in 4 to 8 years.
The thing that is interesting to me in considering this child care situation is that my husband is free-lance hourly billing, as is my son-in-law, though truth is he has been the primary care-giver-parent at home. I am working full-time in a professional capacity, as is my daughter - that's how we're accumulating pension/IRAs and health care benefits. I wonder how many women are supporting their men by working for benefits.
