now this is a radio friendly track...cannot believe it won't be one of the singles in the singles line-up.....

In an unexpected move, Adam Lambert dropped a new song on iTunes this morning. Lambert's third studio album The Original High is out on June 17th, and this new offering is showing off the genius Max Martin and Shellback have in store for us.
'Underground' follows in the apocalyptic vibe of 'Ghost Town', however this one is a hypnotic power ballad. The song sees Adam sweetly singing over an excellently crafted R&B beat that is a perfect marriage of his previous sounds.
Lambert has referred to this song as "one of the key tracks" on the album, and it's not hard to see why. This may very well be one of the best songs he's ever released. It sounds like nothing on radio at the moment but could easily slide in and become a hit.

Adam Lambert has unveiled another track from The Original High, and it’s very different from the ’90s house-influenced “Ghost Town”. This one’s a moody, piano-driven R&B ballad that builds.
“Underground” is about the feeling of missing someone every time they leave the room, with lines like “When you’re gone it’s like I’m one second in time / I’m frozen.” Adam sings of being lost without his love, and not feeling complete until they return: “I look at myself and I don’t know / How I’m stuck to ya like Velcro / Can’t rip you off and go solo.”
It’s a less-than-healthy, codependent, obsessive sort of infatuation, but one that most of us have felt at one time or another. Max Martin and Shellback co-produced the dark track.

It should download automatically. [smile.gif] See upthread, there is some technical glitch about the downloads. It shows on the Canadian Itunes, that it has been already downloaded or purchased, not sure which, but it is not available to buy right now. [sad.gif]
