posting here to give a heads up that this is going to be an up and down week on the charts for GT. If you are squeamish I suggest you don't look at numbers every day. Why? Because on the pop chart even if it continues to get adds and increase in daily spins it is going to get passed by at least 2 for sure and possibly 3 songs this week -- the new Taylor with an hourly deal with pass tomorrow, Ed Sheeran's song will pass this week, and possibly the Major Lazer song as well. Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith and Hozier also have new releases this week; I don't think any of them will pass GT this week. There are 3 songs in front of GT that it could possibly pass this week. So the song is likely to lose a position or two and gain it back over the course of the week. Unless a song or two goes recurrent or gets purged this weekend it is likely to wind up in the same spot at the end of the week -- but its going to be up and down until then. Similar issues on the HAC chart...it has a healthy bullet and spin creases on that chart, but the there are only 2 songs dropping between 16 and 29 on that chart...and things move slowly there...so even with a strong performance it may not move at all this week, or at least not much. And it may get passed by Maroon 5 and/or Taylor and/or Kelly and/or new Sam (although it will be harder for them to pass this week without an hourly spin deal but they will undoubtedly all replace themselves on the chart and pass at some point). The only thing that matters for GT is that it continues to increase in spins....it will get passed by other songs and it will pass other songs...but may not be a lot of upward movement chart-wise this week.

ETA: looking at the hac adds today we should expect the new Taylor and M5 songs to pass GT this week. But their current songs will then fall down the charts over next few weeks as well til they eventually replace themselves.
