Tonight’s show is at the JBC HALL IN THE CITY OF TOYKO

Factual information for Tokyo can be found in the 10-6-2010 thread. For this thread, we’d like to take you on a picture tour of the areas of city of Tokyo.

As every modern city, its an ocean of opportunities for both locals and visitors, an ideal place to amuse yourself as a tourist for weeks, or to find a lifestyle of your own pace for months or years. There's plenty of historic sights both hyped up and hidden in the shadows of major attractions, and a lot of activities you could participate in from world debut of new technology, conventions of nearly all kinds from anime through cars, fashion, sports to health, and festivals for all seasons.

Shibuya
Young and energetic entertainment, shopping and fashion district with views everyone has seen at least once. Often the world debut stage for music, movies, and games, vibrant and never boring.
Asakusa, Azumabashi
Home of Senso-ji temple, Asakusa shrine and the Azumabashi bridge, the most famous historic views of Tokyo. Also the ideal place to buy classic souvenirs and see a wide variety of tourists.
Ueno
Travel back to the 20th century to see more relaxed but somewhat late scenes of Tokyo. Ueno park is home to many museums, galleries and a zoo, while the Ameya Yokocho shopping
Jiyugaoka
A famous residential area and its "open air shopping mall", a town center with classy and stylish food, fashion, and other lifestyle related shops from overseas cosmetics to Nihon ningyo
Komagome, Rikugien
Rikugien, beautifully maintained historic traditional Japanese gardens and strolls displaying famous scenes in all seasons. Located in Komagome.
Tokyo Dome City
Tokyo Dome City hosts more than the stadium itself, there are amusement parks, the LaQua shopping complex, the Prism Hall, and a huge hotel overlooking the area.
Ginza
Elite and somewhat snobbish shopping and entertainment district, mainly for wealthier audience. Hidden in the smaller streets you will find all the necessary scenes and stars for a movie about a never-existed Tokyo.
Shinjuku
The heart of Tokyo, Japan, and probably one of the most famous cities in the world. A more adult version of Shibuya, shopping, dining and entertainment district, and home of the gigantic and calm imperial park.
THE VENUE
The JCB Hall is a sport, fashion show, circus, and live music hall located inside of Tokyo Dome City. It is on the opposite corner of the Tokyo Dome, and has a variety of events at any given time, including boxing and live concerts.

Standing, JCB Hall can fit approximately 3,100 people, though this number varies depending on the seating charts for the different events. For example, the stage is set in such a way that during fashion shows it seats less than 1600.

Since the complex is brand new, JCB Hall has a state of the art sound system, complete with a sound absorbing acoustic wall. The seats in the complex are designed for comfort as well.

The stage is set up in such a way that it is extremely versatile, and can be switched out depending on the event. For example, when the circus is playing they tend to use a circle stage, but when a concert is playing the stage is converted into a rectangular shape. When a boxing match is taking place, the back of the stage can be removed in order to seat extra chairs.
Forecast is
Venue is standing (ground floor, enter in order of assigned numbers on tickets) and seated. The capacity is 3,100. Tickets for Oct.7&8 are sold-out.

As much fun as it is to joke around about Adam 'getting some' from the two boys at the concert, I somehow highly doubt that Adam who has worked his butt off to get where he is today would be foolish enough to actually 'get some' from two 'unknown fans in the audience' no matter how pretty they might have been.

You guys who worry about Adam's sexual activities in the light of asking those two boys backstage are grossly overreacting, IMHO. Adam probably got a kick out of the two of them making out with each other while he crooned away... or he liked their make-up... or their outfits and being in a 'happy mood' what with Terrence's birthday party backstage and all, had them join the crew backstage.

I think that Adam's 'slut bag' (his term not mine) days are over. I remember Adam saying in an interview (of course I can't remember which one) that it was very difficult to meet people with his new notoriety. That people could/might have 'agendas' and he also seemed to be getting to a place in his life before AI where he wanted a bit more stability, but he can't have a stable relationship while touring and concentrating on his newfound exploding career.

Soooooooooooo, I think that Adam goes out clubbing, flirts tons, might kiss some, dance with many and then goes back to his hotel a very lonely man.

Give the man who has brilliantly steered his own ship through all kinds of storms for the last year some credit!

There were cute boys in the audience last night. Especially the one right next to me was SO CUTE! A young blond boy with his boyfriend.
They were couple and kissing each others during the show.
Every time Adam comes to our side, he was pointing me and gave me a happy smile! (I mean.. he was smiling to the boy next to me.)
But, it was amazing to see how happy Adam was! His face had brightened when he found the cute boy in the audience! That was kind of amazing! His face truly shined!
Adam asked these boys to come to the back stage after the show and they did go but stayed there only a little bit and came out again. I think they were under age and Adam realized that he cannot take them to the bar or anything.　:(

It’s the fourth night of his five shows in Japan and my first time to enjoy the show near the stage. Dead Center. In the fourth row. Lightly moshed. Felt the danger of falling down like dominoes several times.

Surprised to know how the same show gives me different impressions, depending on from where I'm watching in the same venue.

Oct 6 show, I had a seat on the second floor and looked down the stage, dancing fanatically in his dance tunes. Full view. I watched ALL happened on the stage. Enjoyed the GNT backscreen graphic vid. Devoured the show, in the ‘macro’ sense.

Tonight show,
I had to give up my dancing. Couldn’t watch the GNT graphics vid, which was out of my sight cause I needed to focus on objects (particular persons) on stage. Shortsighted but the maximum zoomed. I could see Adam’s sweat splashing. Appreciated Monte’s virtuoso minutely. Devoured the show in the ‘micro’ sense.

Which do I prefer?

The latter. Absolutely.

I was a crazy, mad, unashamed, instinctive, unbearable fan-bitxx, throwing away all my saneness, if any.

Shouted YAYYYYYYY!!!!, whenever he expected from the audience.

Cheered whenever he did hip gyration, hip-shaking, shimmies, cool body isolations, MUAhhh look, tongue piston movement, THE DEEP ADOMMY KISS, rubbing an unseen long & thick stick, flirting with Tommy’s hair.

In another word, CAN’ T LOVE MORE EVERY DETAIL OF HIS OVER THE TOP PERFORMANCE.

I was totally wrong.
It didn’t matter at all whether his voice was in the best condition or not.
He is a real professional. Never fails to entertain us in any condition.

As for his theatrical aspect.

He never forgets to do passionate role-playing in his singing.
Although every artist does role-playing in performance, his is so unique cause his role-play is 120% when 100% is required. Just too much.Overemphasized. I don’t think everyone loves it cause one may feel be cheated, thinking his emotions are not real, different from those of ordinary people.

However, if one thinks of his overemphasized role-playing as a form of highly stylized performing arts such as Kabuki in Japan or Kyogeki in China, one can connect with him more easily and his performance itself would be more highly evaluated, I think.

Aftermath may be the most ‘ordinary’ song which ordinary people can easily connect to, but even in this song, he doesn’t forget to show his theatrical side, giving the sidelong glance, grubbing the mic with more strength, etc.

As for Monte and their friendship.

I was moved by it most.

Monte’s guitar. Virtuoso. His support. Unreplaceable by anyone.
Hope Hope Hope he never leaves Adam.

And 'Happy Birthday Terrance' on stage.
Felt a strong bond between them.
And his butt shake was AWESOME.

As a dance lover, got goose bumps watching Sasha's dancing. Love her body isolation!
I’m not a good fan.
I think I may love Adam in this order.

First, I don’t know why but his free spirit keeps stimulating my imagination and just keeps me writing jokes about him.

Second, I love his over the top performance, cause it makes me keep frantically laughing. Really refreshing in life.
I'm having hard time in suppressing my laughter in the beginning of ROF. The sillier the better!

Third, I love his sense of humor, quick wit and his talkativeness in interviews, which also keep me smiling.

Fourth, I love his being a loved son, cause I myself think my children as my best accomplishments in life. I have a belief that only a loved child has a genuine and positive power to change the world better when growing up.

Fifth, I love his flawless vocal.

I just love the Japanese take on Adam...so interesting to see it from a different culture.
