"Ghost Town" First Single

Ghost Town  #1 in US POP iTunes!!  :stir:  :chairspin:    :tumble:

That's actually the album that is #1 on the pop chart (and #7 on all music chart).  Looks like Ghost Town is #21 on pop chart and #57 on all music chart

and this is exactly why his team wants the album preorders and isn't concerned about release week position....they think it will help the era to have the visibility now (or so I assume -- its not like I have a bat phone to adam or his people lol....I just make assumptions from shosh tweets and what makes sense and from the Lambertmusic411 acct)

Yea that's what I was trying to say when I was confused about the 'don't pre-order' stuff.  I can't imagine how it's a bad thing that people who are on iTunes right now are seeing his album at #1 on the pop chart and #7 on the all music chart.  I know I'm always checking out the charts to see what's new or what's on pre-order.

Yay for Ellen!  A lot of other fanbases are discouraging preorders on iTunes because they won't count for release week chart position and there have been articles written about the new rules..but many of those fanbases can easily get the lead single to top 5/10 or no. 1 on iTunes for a week without any radio play so they get the  prime iTunes property....we can't do that with a single -- but we can with an album, so we are trading album release week position for single release week position...not a bad trade-off...like I said, this era will live or die on the singles...

so if i am understanding correctly my purchase last night of GT off the Deluxe TOH will still count even though i am pre-ordering the album today...in other words......the pre-order doesn't throw out the GT single purchase/count...right?...... :thinks:

This song is everything to me and even more. I cried when I heard it the first time this morning at 5.45AM  :laugh: and was dancing in my bed  :stir:   :stir:   :stir: !!! I don't know, I can't describe what I like the most - the whistle, the raw and tender vocals at the beginning, the song as a full or... everything?
